- Fees & Payment: A $35 non-refundable booking fee is included in each package price.
- Payment: the encrypted payment system uses Square online payments.
- No payments can be accepted on location at the beach.
- No photos will be taken unless full payment is received.
- Photos are not allowed to be taken on personal phones.
- Santa On The Beach Christmas photography relies totally on mother nature and uses only natural lighting. Inclement weather including strong winds may lead to change of beach location or postponement / cancellation of a scheduled shoot date.
- Santa On The Beach shall monitor the weather on each shoot date. Confirmation that shoot will be proceeding will be sent via email or text message 30 minutes prior start time on the scheduled day, along with information about exact beach location and meeting point for the day.
- Santa on the Beach reserves the right to change the photographer, beach location, photograph set dressing, Santa actor and Santa outfit including beard according to availability of staff on photoshoot days. Promotional photos are not a guarantee of Santa look. Props do change each year. In heatwave conditions Santa may wear red board shorts.
- Cancellation, reschedule & refund policy
- SOTB reserves the right to cancel / reschedule or relocate a Santa photography session if minimum requirements to proceed are not met.
- Cancellation by SoTB for reasons excluding poor weather may occur up to 30 minutes prior session start time. All effort will be made to fit you into another photo session at earliest opportunity. If you are not able to attend another session- a full refund will be given.
- Postponement due to weather: If your Santa photo shoot is postponed you may attend any other shoot scheduled at any location on any day in 2025. If you are unable to attend any other sessions a refund of the fee minus $35 booking fee will be made. Please note due to the busy time with the photography it may take up to 21 days to process refund.
- Cancelled by you: All cancellations by customer will incur the $35 non-refundable booking fee. Due to the limited number of sessions a tiered refund policy is in place.
- Cancellations 72 hours PRIOR session start time will be refunded the package price paid MINUS the 2025 Booking Fee.
- Cancellations WITHIN 72 hours of session start time will incur 100% cancellation fee i.e NO REFUND.
- SOTB will make every attempt to place you in an alternative session day and time.
- Please note due to the busy time with the photography it may take up to 21 days to process refund.
- Whilst we will take the maximum number of shots possible during your session – No refunds are given for squinty eyes, grey skies, upset children or adults (crying) which are beyond the photographers control.
- Please arrive 10 minutes early for your photo shoot.
- ELF photo sessions are 5 minutes
- If you have more than 5 people in your group you will need to book and pay for a large group sitting fee.
- As listed in packages most sittings are for one family group of 5. If you have mulitple families for one photo but they also want a photo of their individual family this will be considered a seperate session.
- Pets are only permitted at the beaches nominated on the booking page as pet friendly beaches.
- Customers who bring dogs to the photoshoots are at all times responsible for your dog. SOTB accepts no responsibility for your dog whilst on the beach. Please bring a leash to ensure the safety of other customers and beach goers.
- Dogs must be kept on the leash whilst in the queue awaiting your photo.
- The photo chosen for print is selected by the photographer. There is no time for clients to scroll through the camera to review shots to make selections.
- PHOTO DELIVERY: Guests will be advised the minute your photo products are ready however the maximum processing time is 10 days after the shoot. (Usually delivered earlier, however this timeframe allows for electrical blackouts and other events/ hiccups out of SOTB control)
- SoTB will ask your consent to use your images in promotion of future Santa on the Beach promotions. If you grant consent your photos may be used across print and online media including Santa on the Beach website, social media such as facebook, instagram and other print and digital platforms that request promotional photos, including third party platforms.
- SOTB reserves the right to refuse service to any customer who is deemed to not act respectfully to all SOTB staff and other customers.
